My story (the short version)

EACH one of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life. Gal. 6:5 Born a Mississippi Girl, I am a product of country and bit of Cajun influence living so close to New Orleans where my father worked. I grew up always wanting to be a writer. As I discovered more about my Christian Faith, I also wanted to follow Christ which I did, in full time service as a member of the Contemporary Christian touring group, Sound of Joy, based out of Pensacola, Florida. Once I settled back home, my husband and I served in churches for the next 15 years, also producing two wonderful boys. In 1998, I lost my husband in a car accident and was able to find my way through the dark period of loss and new challenges. The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes.
