My story (the short version)

EACH one of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.  Gal. 6:5 Born a Mississippi Girl, I am a product of country and bit of Cajun influence living so close to New Orleans where my father worked. I grew up always wanting to be a writer. As I discovered more about my Christian Faith, I also wanted to follow Christ which I did, in full time service as a member of the Contemporary Christian touring group, Sound of Joy, based out of Pensacola, Florida. Once I settled back home, my husband and I served in churches for the next 15 years, also producing two wonderful boys. In 1998, I lost my husband in a car accident and was able to find my way through the dark period of loss and new challenges. The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. Christian Living for Dummies

I must be a dummy! 2 Timothy 3:14-17 (the message)  But don’t let it faze you. Stick with what you learned and believed, sure of the integrity of your teachers—why, you took in the sacred Scriptures with your mother’s milk!  There’s nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us. If I need to do something, or learn something new, I turn to those dummy books. I can’t help it; they draw my attention with their black and yellow beckoning me. It’s a Dummies R Us store online --because there is a dummy book for everything!
